TEMPLE THOUGHTS
Don’t Worry
Matthew 6:31
“Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’
Matthew 6: 25-34, says to us, not to worry. The Lord Jesus Christ, mentioned three major items, that are very important to human survival, and then asked us not to worry about them. I believe that a man who has all the food he needs, all the clothings needed, and drinks in abundance should not be described as poor. By mentioning the three, the Lord is actually covering all our everyday human concerns. He seems to be saying, don’t worry about all that those who don’t know God fret over.
Life in the kingdom of God is different from the world systems, citizens of God’s kingdom are well cared for. So seek and strive to ensure your citizenship, learn too, the lifestyle of the kingdom, which is righteousness, then you will enjoy limitlessly, all the benefits of being a saint. In the world system, money is the mode of exchange for almost all of mans need and comfort, but in the kingdom of God, righteousness and faith are the required currency. It is therefore tragic when saints bow their righteous lives to the ungodly mammon, in times of need.
If you give in to worries, you will ultimately bow, but if you choose to stand in the righteousness of your new citizenship, then you will know the joys of heavenly supply.
Christians bow only when they ignore available grace.
