That does not surprise me at all. As I often say this is a spiritual war. If Satan can discourage or defuse Christians though any means including persecution he will. He is not interested in non-Christian religions and faiths because they are already in his pocket. His competition and enemy is Christians and them alone. We battle spirits of the unseen that is what makes it so devious. When you cannot see your enemy it is harder to do battle. Fortunately we have Christ and the Bible on our side.
