ON WHOM IS YOUR HOPE, TRUST, AND CONFIDENCE? 2
3 DON'T PUT YOUR CONFIDENCE IN POWERFUL PEOPLE; THERE IS NO HELP FOR YOU THERE.
4 When they breathe their last, they return to the earth, and all their plans die with them.
5 BUT JOYFULLY ARE THOSE WHO HAVE THE GOD OF ISRAEL AS THEIR HELPER, whose HOPE is in the LORD THEIR GOD."
Psalm 146:3-5 (NLT)
• Let God's Will be done in your life.
God is the only One Who keeps every Promise, He is the promise keeper—a covenant keeping God:
6 HE made heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them. HE KEEPS EVERY PROMISE FOREVER. 7 HE GIVES JUSTICE TO THE OPPRESSED AND FOOD TO THE HUNGRY. THE LORD FREES THE PRISONERS" (Psalm 146:6,7 NLT).
- If God made a promise or a commitment, He would surely make it good. He is not a Man, a human, that should lie: "GOD IS NOT A MAN THAT HE SHOULD LIE, NOR A SON OF MAN [a human] THAT HE SHOULD REPENT [change His Mind]. HAS HE SAID, AND WILL HE NOT DO? OR HAS HE SPOKEN, AND WILL HE NOT MAKE IT GOOD" (Numbers 23:19 NKJV).
- God will honour you If you serve Him with all your heart and life. He would not fail you, neither would He come late or at the wrong time, on the matters of your life.
- If someone disappointed you, God has allowed or permitted It. He did because He knows the heart of all men, humans; He knows those who would like to take or receive the glory of whatever they do for you—If you succeed or Excel.
- The reason why you have been experiencing disappointments could be, you have put your trust in those who are disappointing you.
- God usually allows such, that you would not see any help that comes your way, from any person you trusted in, but Him. That whoever helps you is being used as an instrument in God's hand. And all the glory should go or be given to Him:
"HAPPY IS HE [she] WHO HAS THE GOD OF JACOB [Israel] FOR HIS [her] HELP. WHOSE HOPE [trust] IS IN THE LORD HIS [her] GOD" (Psalm 146:5 NKJV). - Let God decide or choose whichever way He wished to meet your needs. The Truth is, God might not work things out in your life As you had premeditated them.
- If you had the thought or way through which you expected God to send your help, It might not be As you had thought it.
• The powerful people, or the highly placed ones, your relatives who are influencers, or whoever; that you are running after for help, might not do it.
- Even If some of such wished to do it, God might not allow it, If the glory would be ascribed to them and not to Him—God.
- God would not allow you to turn anyone to another god in your life: "YOU SHALL HAVE NO OTHER gods BEFORE ME [the God of heaven]" (Exodus 20:3 NKJV).
• You will not fail in Jesus' name.
- Should there be any ailment in your body, I declare your healing now in Jesus' name.
- And that Affliction will never rise again in Jesus' name.

STEPS TO SALVATION
• Take notice of this:
IF you are yet to take the step of salvation, that is, yet to be born-again, do it now, tomorrow might be too late (2 Corinthians 6:1,2; Hebrews 3:7,8,15).
a. Acknowledge that you are a sinner and confess your Sins (1 John 1:9); And ask Jesus Christ to come into your life (Revelation 3:20).
b. Confess that you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that you confess it with your mouth, Thus, you accept Him As your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9,10).
c. Ask that He will write your name in the Book of Life (Philippians 4:3; Revelation 3:8).
