RECEIVING AN IDEA FROM GOD 2

"SO MY GOD GAVE ME THE IDEA TO CALL TOGETHER ALL THE NOBLES AND LEADERS OF THE CITY, along with the ordinary citizens, for registration. I had found the genealogical record of those who had first returned to Judah. This is what was written there."

"THEN MY GOD PUT IT INTO MY HEART TO GATHER THE NOBLES, the rulers, and the people, that they might be registered by genealogy. And I found a register of the genealogy of those who had come up in the first return, and found written in it."

• If you cultivated the habit of committing all things to God's hand in prayer; you would always receive direction on whatever to do and be favoured by Men—humans.

• If you had talked to God about a thing, then wait on Him and allow Him to guide and lead you. Many believers would pray, but they will not allow God to work. They would have gone ahead of Him, and in most cases, muddled up the whole issue and made it more complicated.
• God's idea is always the best and better than that of Man—humans. Thus, do not lean on your own understanding in leading others (Proverbs 3:5,6), the people God has entrusted to you.
• You need divine ideas or intuitions to succeed in the world, in whatever field of endeavour. You have an edge above others because you have the Spirit of God in you (Daniel 1:19,20; 1 Kings 10:1-9; Exodus 35:30-35).
• You are meant to be ten times better than others (Daniel 1:19,20), because the Spirit of God on the inside of you is the Spirit of excellence and wisdom (Daniel 5:11,12).
• You should not be At the mercy of the unbelievers. And, for you not to be under, that is, for you to be the Head and not the tail, As the Scripture says (Deuteronomy 28:13), you had to be intimate with God through the Holy Spirit and His Word—the Bible.

• Fellowshipping with God through the Holy Spirit would cause or make you discern God's voice—know when He is speaking.

• Through the fellowshipping or communion, you would understand the language or means or pattern or way through which God communicates with you. You would know symbols and gestures that expresses or emphasizes an idea, or a command from God.
• God is speaking to some believers, giving them ideas, through symbols and gestures, but they are unable to understand or decipher what He is saying.
• Hearing from God, receiving ideas from Him, requires a work and it will take a deliberate effort on your part to know and how to accurately receive from Him.
• What many call divine ideas are fleshly ideas, what they conceived in their minds through carnal desires.
• An idea from God is birthed by the Holy Spirit. If your intimacy with God through the Holy Spirit is strong and well built, you would recognize His voice whenever He speaks (John 10:3-5).

• Converse or dialogue with God through the Holy Spirit on the inside of you. You ask questions from God, on things bothering your heart, with the expectation to receive a Word from Him—an answer or the way to go on whatever is at hand.

• You would do well to pay attention to the principles we have shared in this piece. If you live by them, the principles, you would not find it difficult to receive divine ideas or intuitions or plans or directions about the matters or affairs or issues of your life and the ministry.

• You will not fail in Jesus' name.

• Should there be any ailment in your body, receive your healing now in Jesus' name.
• Whatever God has not planted in your body that is working against your health, such is rebuked and uprooted completely in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

STEPS TO SALVATION
• Take notice of this:
IF you are yet to take the step of salvation, that is, yet to be born-again, do it now, tomorrow might be too late (2 Corinthians 6:1,2; Hebrews 3:7,8,15).
a. Acknowledge that you are a sinner and confess your Sins (1 John 1:9); And ask Jesus Christ to come into your life (Revelation 3:20).
b. Confess that you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that you confess it with your mouth, Thus, you accept Him As your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9,10).
c. Ask that He will write your name in the Book of Life (Philippians 4:3; Revelation 3:8).
