One of the most controversial articles on facebook these days is this post that's trying to disclose who was really born on December 25. The article says, "Tammuz was born on December 25, this day was highly honored and recognized by Nimrod's supporters. Note, therefore, that this date (December 25) was observed in honor of the birth of Tammuz long before Christianity existed, and that it was not until many centuries later this pagan custom was "Christianized" as being the birthday of Christ (or Christmas day)."

Thanks for the trivia but I don't care who was born on the 25th of December, I will still worship Jesus Christ on that day. Just because a demonic being was born on that day, doesn't we can't celebrate Jesus' birth or what he has done for us.

When the psalmist said, "Today is the day that the LORD has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it" then as long as there is "today" in our lives, then let's remember God on that day. I don't even care if it's Saturday or Sunday. The worship that the Father seeks is the worship that is in spirit and in truth with no specific day, which means, we can do it Monday, Tues- Sunday; all the days of January to December. Every day belongs t the LORD. So why let that day or give any demonic beings a day to commemorate them or to honor them?

Are we not allowed to celebrate Jesus on Dec 25 because that demonic person who was born on that day or are we going to be punished for worshipping God on Sunday because it's the wrong day for worship? Is there a day in a week or a date in the calendar where Jesus is not LORD or stops being the LORD of all because that certain date is for the devil?

Let's celebrate Jesus on December 25, remembering his birth even if it's not the exact date he was born. We don't even remember that exact date he was crucified yet we celebrate it. Every season is God's season. Every year is the LORD's year.
