In this Christmas book for kids, Mrs Wishy Washy instructs her animals to clean themselves from the mud that is all over them. The animals were very afraid to take a bath in the winter cold because the water was ice cold. Mrs. Wishy Washy said they needed to get themselves ready for a Christmas scrub. Mrs Wishy Washy instructed them to take a bath and told them they must be completely clean of all the mud or else there would be no Christmas gifts this year. As we continue this Christmas story book read aloud, Mrs Wishy Washy drives away to go to town but all the animals followed the duck up the path and dripped mud and slush all over the floor as they walk through the home. Next in this Christmas kids books, we see the animals go upstairs and begin scrubbing clean in Mrs Wishy Washy’s pink bath. The animals were gathered near the Christmas tree shiny as a tack! When they saw Mrs Wishy Washy they gulped in shame and knew they wouldn’t be getting their Christmas presents because of their disobedience. As this Christmas book comes to a close, we see that she isn’t angry but instead gives them their Christmas presents and some cookies, but also tells them that they shouldn’t use her bath anymore.

Storybook Nanny’s purpose is to help children improve their lives through reading. Literacy skills are being sidelined by the vast array of electronic inputs crowding out attention in a child’s day. Nothing can replace the power of a parent reading aloud to their child, however, we recognize there are instances where this can be challenging to do. Storybook Nanny’s goal is to provide a resource of books read aloud for your child to enjoy during quiet time, as a bedtime story, or as an alternative reading time activity. These story books read aloud with sound effects and music help to engage your child in a multisensory story experience that can spark their imagination and help bring the character to life. We hope your child will read along with us and gain an enthusiasm for reading themselves.
