The rock phenomenon Chudnite skaly is located 4 km away from the village of Asparuhovo, Dulgopol municipality, Varna district. It was declared a natural landmark by Decree of the Council of Ministers No.1869 of 17.02.1949 and covers an area of ​​12.5 ha of the shore of Tsonevo Dam. In the immediate vicinity of the rocks passes the main road connecting Provadia and Aitos, and the railway line Varna - Plovdiv passes. Wonderful rocks represent an array of about ten beautiful rock needles with a height of 40-50 m, resembling tower towers. They are formed by the impact of water and wind on the limestone. The rocks rise directly from the shores of Tsonevo dam, where they are steeper and steeper.

The phenomenon consists of three arrays, along the length of which three tunnels have been dug through a car road made of crushed stones. As they can be seen from the main road, the rocks often attract travelers who stop to enjoy the view. Immediately opposite the Wonderful Cliffs is the hut offering the same name.

In the area there are quite interesting caves, rocky massifs and holes, some inhabited by large raptors.

Rocks equipped with rocky climbing routes are also of interest. They are within a 10-minute walk of the Wonderful Rocks phenomenon, up the steep path, to the abandoned rock quarry. The rocks are in the shape of an arc, with a characteristic ceiling at the top. Here one of the national climbing championships was held and 8 routes were specially equipped for this purpose. Gradually, the rocks are docked and there are currently 18 equipped routes from the 6th to the 10th category.

It is forbidden in the territory of the natural landmark to break and ruin the rocks, as well as to place drawings on them.
