Beautiful historic area of Prague

We had a lovely day wandering around Prague Castle and the grounds. Beware there is a lot of walking involved and a lot of steps and stairs. We bought a Band B ticket which gave us access to certain areas and buildings around the grounds. Unfortunately never got to see the Cathedral due to the huge que. Still, this place is well worth the visit. The buildings are huge, the architecture is amazing and if your timings are right you might get to see the changing of the guard.

I walked along the river over Charles bridge and up to the castle - a good walk, lots of people and all up hill, steep hills.

The castle is free to enter the grounds and gardens but you need to pay to enter the church.

Take a step back and look sky high for the full effect of this beautiful palace.
