CICADA3301 vs THE Q-ARMY? Is This The Great Awakening Or A Competition?

I am far from being an expert on many things yet I will still speak on some. The fact that someone may take the time to step in and correct me is the easiest way to learn. Sometimes educated guesses are all we have to work with and I am better than most at putting small pieces of puzzles together, mostly by reading between the lines. In any case, I think it is time for many of the people of the world to speak up.
I respect the work of both @defango and @titusfrost and have watched their work for a long time. Recently, Titus has posted some info about #Cicada3301, which I know very little about. Other than watching Manny solving puzzles and trying to learn from him, having met some great people in the process, I am only a lurking learner.
But what I HAVE noticed is that, although there appears to be a camaraderie, there also appears to be competing factions which sometimes even appear to be bordering on sinister at times. Maybe that is totally from those outside of the organization and bad actors trying to stop good works. I don't know for sure, so am very happy to be corrected and/or informed. Are there different cells competing for a certain prize and is that more beneficial than cooperation over a broader spectrum? Not meant as an insult, just trying to understand it.
As it appears that more people are now taking notice of Cicada3301, especially with relations to the current Q novelty which has developed its own cult following, I wanted to add something to one of Titus' recent postings. I also want to acknowledge Defango's immense knowledge in all things Cicada3301 and on much more.

Titus mentions two of the co-founders of the Cicada3301 organization and that he is now in communication with some of those currently involved in running that show. I just wanted to add something briefly to Titus' findings, for his and Defango's perusal and for that of the many others who share these same interests.
I briefly wanted to add some info on the father of one of the co-founders that Titus mentioned. In looking up the father's information, these few lines jumped out at me:
He received a promotion to the rank of four-star general in August 1958. From 1958 to 1960 he commanded the Continental Army Command, heading the entire Army school system which, at the time, had over 250,000 participants. From 1960 to 1962 he served as Commander in Chief of U.S. Army Europe, before retiring on April 30, 1962.
He and his wife, Bessie, had three sons and one daughter.
On October 18, 1971 the Supreme Council of the Scottish Rite for the Southern Jurisdiction of the United States conferred upon Clarke, a 33rd Degree Freemason, the Grand Cross of the Court of Honor. This is the highest Masonic award, with only 11 holders out of 600,000 Freemasons in the Southern Jurisdiction of the Scottish Rite.

Pretty impression stature I must say.
There has been much written over the years about Donald Trump's connections and rankings in “certain organizations” as well as the same inquiries regarding Putin, and also many other world leaders in all areas of society.
I bring this information forward without prejudice, but only as information and for the solicitation of commentary and/or corrections by people with more knowledge than I have.
There has been much disinformation and dissension by others, blurring the lines of truth, and I believe much of that has been intentional. Many are seeking and deserve answers. I also believe that the original Q's intentions were to “wake people the hell up” and served a GREAT purpose. And why have everyone been fighting valiantly to hold onto their guns, while also at the same time running around with knives stabbing 'former-friendlies' in the back... or effectively doing so smugly from the shadows??
