"Butrint was a Greek city and Roman ruins in northern Albania of today, not far from the Greek border. The town grew during the period of Roman control after Caesar appointed as a colony for veterans of the war against Pompey. Augustus later expanded by building a akuadukt city, forum, theater and nymph. It doubled the size of the city and lulëzou until its collapse in the late Empire. Now this place is open to visitors as the Butrint National Park. "
