Is good or evil promoting human civilization?
This is a question of practical significance.
If we have 10 apples, we give 3 people, A gets 6, B gets 3, and C gets 1.
But everyone needs to eat 2 apples to get enough, and 3 apples can do a good job.
If nothing happens, then C will be less happy and have the possibility of rebellion.
A took the initiative to give his own apple to C, which is called good.
A took the initiative to give his 2 apples to C. This is called justice.
A persuaded B to give 1 apple to C. This is called smart.
A snatched an apple from B, which is called exploitation.
A snatched one of the only apples in C. This is evil.
However, Apple is still 10, and it has not changed.
The difference is:
In the first 2 cases, everyone will be very happy;
In the third case, B is not very happy, but everyone is safe and sound;
In the fourth case, B is not happy, C is not happy, and the crisis is fourfold;
In the fifth case, C is particularly unhappy and will definitely rebel;
If someone is not happy, there will be battle and loss. Maybe 10 apples will become 9 and 8...
Therefore, promoting civilization is neither good nor evil. Good can reduce internal friction, evil will increase internal friction, and nothing more.
What really promotes civilization is the 11th apple.
