The rude awakening

Sometimes to realise things in life you need to get a slap on your face ,
A slap not necessary a physical one sometimes an emotional one is all you need to start thinking straight in life .

I have been a stoner and a recreational drug user for over 10 years now and i have seen life change for me in different ways at times time intervals . Its said am marijuana is a gate way drug i would say alcohol is cause the first form of high i ever started was alcohol and cigarettes . Not happy with that high i moved on to marijauna and other highs which seemed great but pushed me away from reality.

The 1st Awakening i learnt is am not being able to trust people and always choosing the wrong people in life and distancing myself from the right , i was once a guy who believed in values and believed that everyone should be together and never fight but as time progressed in the usage of these highs i realised i started getting depressed about things i dint concentrate on my life rather tried being a mesiah of drugs and helping my friends get it to not realising my circle would become the same . i had lost friends i have lost the one i love and was about to lose and good friend who i have known from 2007 just cause i was careless about things and thought that he stole my money , But then came in a guy who i have known only for 2 years now and that guy was my rude awakening he made me understand that its very hard to find true friendship and how cloudy my thoughts are .

He put me through a emotional and mental trauma which will stay with me for a very long time and will not want to have that in my life ever again .

Its rightly said chose your friends wisely and never to be the one coming forward for stupid things in life like DRUGS .

Drugs it kills people
it kills thoughts
it kills emotions
it kills relationships
it kills happiness .

This is my day 1 of going clean and hope to never get back to those artificial substances to try to escape life from the stupid depressions i have in life which were never actually a problem but i made them into problems.

Thank You my new friend for the rude awakening i hope to make you proud that you have changed a persons life for the betterment and hope you are there to see me through the change .
