It's interesting to compare the different science marches with each other in different countries. Science March in Vienna 2017 for instance could have been better organized around an institutional critique, 2018 was a total joke with dancing waltz on one of our main campuses.

That's sad to hear. We need a worldwide coordinated effort and with environmental issues, it's important to put indigenous people at the forefront. But I do see a similar weakness and ineffectual response at protests of war and poverty. People are very distracted have fallen into the "Trump trap" of following his slight of hand and focusing on his personality and cartoonish character while ignoring the most important issues.
