Clothing Style in my Country
Hi, I'm Lyte and this is about clothes. I know I'm all about the choral Music, but I also said you should expect to see this at some point in the community from me. So, here it is, Adire, the attire of the Yoruba people of Nigeria.
The basis of this style is the art of Tie and Dye. The Adire textile is an indigo-dye clothing of the Yoruba people, carried out by Yoruba women and handed over to their children, and the tradition is still on going in some South western states of the country, plus, not just by the damage sex alone, but also their male counterparts. Also, in recent times, people of other tribes, like the Igbo's and Edo's are beginning to learn and go in to the production of this fabric because of it's demand in the market today.
Why now? you might ask. Well, there's a large demand for it because different designs have been made with it recently. Modifications (such as painting on it or cresting your names or your organisation logo) to what the original Adire looked like have been made in recent times, making it useful such that it goes with any thing you want to wear on your legs and feet (I mean anything), just tell the designer what you want and he/she'll make it to suit your need. So, Steemians, here is the Adire!
Thinking about it right now, I'll design one for the #steem #community, hmmm... Thanks guys for giving me this idea now.
Cheers!
