Climbing roses and roses

in #cn6 days ago

I have some very beautiful roses in my front yard. Around May, thousands roses open, it really looks nice. After the flowers are gone, I have to cut them off, and I have to wait for the second wave of flowers open.

The first wave of flowers have burned a lot of nutrients, so flowers after become smaller. Also no longer have that many flowers. I always trimmed my rosés end of Winter, including the climbing roses.

My climbing rose has grown so many stems this year. I decided to let them climb on iron fences and no longer trim them. Not sure what’s wrong, I did not see any flowers.

The last two years I really got into succulents, but this year I am more focused on roses. I learned a lot from YouTube. One year I will graft them. That will be challenging!
