Succulents in a hot hot day

A super heat wave is coming, 98 degrees today, 104 tomorrow, 110 Tuesday, 113 Wednesday, every day is over 100 the coming week. Are you kidding-this hot in first week of July?

I watered all my succulents today. Succulents are desert plants, they can survive in the hot days, but their leaves can burn from sunlight too. I am better to move some of them to my patio and some cover up.

From my experience, I would lose some succulents in Summer. Hope it is not too bad this year. Succulents have their own diseases and also some bugs like to eat them. I usually don’t like to spray them with chemicals due to it is in my garden.

They are still so pretty!
