I use blocktrades.us because it's easy, fast and has much better support than the exchanges. The rate might be a bit lower, but you can always check the rate on blocktrades.us before you make the trade.

Please don't compare the rate with Poloniex. It's impossible to deposit or withdraw SBD and STEEM on Poloniex right now. Better compare it with the price on Bittrex.com.
