Xiao Yaqing stressed that enterprises and regional development must be good at strengthening cooperation in competition and achieving win-win cooperation. Only by adhering to open cooperation and mutually beneficial win-win situation can we achieve long-term stability. We should insist on opening up, not closing up, cooperation, not confrontation, win-win and not monopoly.

"There are many common points of development between state-owned enterprises and private enterprises, there are many points of convergence of interests, there are a lot of opportunities for cooperation, and there is a broad space for cooperation." Xiao Yaqing said.

For historical reasons, most of the state-owned enterprises are in the upstream of the industrial chain, playing a role in the field of heavy chemical industry and traditional manufacturing industry in basic industries. At the beginning of reform and opening up, private enterprises mainly engaged in service industry and processing industry, but later expanded to high-tech and emerging industries, and even many enterprises entered the international market.

In Xiao Yaqing's view, state-owned enterprises should constantly deepen enterprise reform, speed up innovation and development, adjust and optimize the layout structure, strengthen and optimize industries and major industries, constantly enhance the endogenous vitality and development power of enterprises, and further consolidate the foundation of high-quality development.

For private enterprises, they are faced with the realistic needs of deepening supply-side structural reform, transformation and upgrading, and high-quality development. At the same time, the central enterprises are also solving their own development problems, in dealing with zombie enterprises, dealing with enterprises in special hardship is unprecedented. So the industry is good or bad, and the survival of enterprises is one of the laws of economic development.

Xiao Yaqing said, "The development of any enterprise will not be smooth sailing, different periods and different stages will encounter difficulties and problems, but to varying degrees." Xiao Yaqing pointed out that "China's future development potential provides a broad space for all kinds of ownership economies to seize new opportunities and achieve new development."
