1957 D Franklin Half Dollar (US)

This is a 1957 D Franklin Half Dollar. The D indicates it was minted in Denver (Colorado - US). The Franklin Half was minted from 1948 to 1963. It is 90% Silver. Its designer was John R. Sinnock.

As you can see I have this one put in a 2x2 and ready to go into my show case.

Here is a look at the reverse. If you look closely you will see the mint mark at the top, under the letter E in States.
