Sailing the Numismatic Seas
I have always been fascinated by things from the past. Coins, currency, natural artifacts such as fossils and gems. Pretty much anything!
Here is a recent piece I acquired that features one of my favorite themes, Ships. Really anything nautical I find extremely intriguing. I feel like capturing these vessels from the period in print form really is amazing. The note itself was printed by the State of North Carolina during it's years with the Confederacy. Here is the Wikipedia article about these notes for further reading. It was redeemable for all public dues and hand signed by the treasurer of the State.
