Do you really need a degree to be successful?
Many successful people have reached the very top of their fields without getting a degree.
Steve Jobs, one of the most influential people in the field technology, he helped build Apple into one of the biggest companies on the planet. He didn't get a college degree, yet look where he ended. At the time of his death his net worth was 11 billion dollars (Steve Wozniak, his counterpart is said to be worth 100 million dollars - he didnt go to college either)!
Richard Branson never completed high school, he dropped out when he was 16. He is worth roughly 4.9 billion dollars, not bad for a high school drop out.
David Green - CEO of Hobby Lobby, he never went to college. He is worth 6 billion dollars.
Larry Ellison - former CEO of Oracle dropped out of two colleges. His net worth - 54 billion dollars!
Michael Dell - founder and CEO of Dell Computers his net worth is said to be 20 billion dollars. He didn't complete university.
And another person i discovered that never got a college degree is one of my all time favorite actors, Tom Hanks, 2 time Academy Award winner.
These are just a few examples of people that didn't get a degree, yet went on to very big things. Not to mention the millions of people that for whatever reason didn't go to college, and have ended up having very successful careers in their field.
So if you, like me, don't have a college /university degree, don't let that get to you, especially if you see friends and family graduating. All you need to do is work hard and persist and you will get anywhere in life.
Elon Musk is another one that didn't finish is "education" and Peter Thiel has said that he wished he didn't.
