Today, there was this wonderful surprise, waiting for me, on the door handle of our laundry room, which is quite close to our backyard and the abundant greenery around.

The Painted Grasshopper was patiently waiting for me...perhaps thinking that It's Wednesday and I needed something beautiful in "Yellow" to post, today !!! LOL :)

Seriously, the sooner I saw it, I rushed towards my smartphone...camera...whatever I could find and capture this so beautiful creation with some truly amazing creativity by Mother Nature!!!

It sat on the door handle, firm...yet calm n quiet, to be captured and must be thinking...It's "The Photoshoot"!!!

OK! Now...If you very carefully observe, The Grasshopper is busy chewing, something that It likes. That is why it is so calm, quiet and patient. See that Left Foreleg...and its very gradual movement towards its mouth. Feeding time, perhaps!!!

I kept on watching and capturing that very slow and very gradual Left foreleg movement. Rest of the body stood still.

and...after sometime, the foreleg moved again, to hold the door handle. Seemed like the meal time is over !!!

and it was back to its original position, holding the door handle tight !!!

After sometime it flew away to be back with the nature!
