RE: Color Challenge: Friday Sky Blue -- Borage
regarding camera cleaning. i did my own sensor cleaning. bec. here they charge high. almost the same price if i buy a sensor cleaning kit. and that's what i did. i did check if my sensor has dirt. to do it. as i recall. i set on M mode. then F22. then Manual on lens too. so it not need to focus. then enable flash. shot on a clean white paper. then you will see if there black spots. if there is then your dslr might need cleaning.
about the ISO settings.
- you need to be in M mode dials.
- i have nikon. and you got canon. your rebel xt is just like my d80. same year and level. i expect they might have similar setting. try to find the ISO setting on the DSLR. i did search on google it said "To change your ISO, press the ISO button. "
try it :)
I am pretty sure my issues with my camera are fungal. I put an unedited version in my own post about the entry in the papa pepper contest. I am a little nervous about cleaning that. The offer I got if I manage to make my trip is reasonable, it sounds like, and someone I know has experience that the store is reliable. Only 3 day turnaround, so they do it in house and don't ship it out. I have it with both my lenses, so it's the body, not a lens issue. I tried blowing the body out but that made no difference. Denmark is very humid and I'd had some years I didn't use the camera much. I suspect it got some damp.
Okay. Good luck, hope it get clean soon
