Thursday Green Color Challenge - Halloween Pennant
Halloween Pennant (Celithemis eponina)
This species is native to a large part of North America from East of the Rocky Mountains and extending up into Southern Canada. Commonly found perched on plants near wetlands. Here seen backed by a field of green vegetation.
Inhabiting the realm of both air and water, these graceful navigators, along with their other dragonfly brethren, have been a symbol of adaptability and a source of inspiration likely for the whole existence of humanity.
