Hello fellow steemers and photography friends.

Here is my contribution to colorchallenge mondayred by @kalemandra.

It is summer in South Africa and my garden is alive with birds and bees. This photo was taken from inside my house, through the open window.

Equipment used:
Canmera: Pentax K5
Lens: Petax DA* 300mm F4 SDM IF prime lens.
Settings: ISO 200, 1/125secs

I captures the beautiful Southern double-collared sunbird (Cinnyris chalybeus) feasting on the nectar of a flowering succulent plant in my garden. I hope you enjoy it!
