Hoover®️ - A Cat's Natural Enemy 😝 Comedy Open Mic Round 20

in #comedyopenmic6 years ago (edited)

All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others. - George Orwell

Honestly I think my four hairy friends are quite equal sometimes.

They make me laugh every single day, but especially when it's 'Hoover®️ time'. I guess that there is nothing on earth my cats are more scared of than 'the yellow monster'.

I know they wouldn't like it if they knew I exposed them here. But I love them to the moon and back - which kind of allows me to do this :-)

I hope they'll forgive me.

It's Hoover®️ time, my crazy cats!

That look! Little Maya sitting inside the living room's cupboard hiding herself from the yellow monster

I'd love to know what they think a vacuum cleaner is!

Have you ever wondered how your hairy friends actually look at the world?

Of course, we often wished they'd understand every single word we say. It'd be great to just sit down next to them and talk about the universe.

But they keep us in suspense and we can only imagine what's going on in their little heads.

Now honestly I've been a bit bitchy to them, since I apparently had fun hunting them with the cleaner 😄

The Hoover®️ doesn't even need to be switched on! Only seeing it is enough for them to run for their lives

Having these four buddies around is me has already led to uncountable hilarious situations.

My phone's full of funny cat videos, but I think there's already enough of it on the internet, so I've almost never shared any of them on Steemit.

Yet, I thought the Hoover®️ story might be worth a shot.

Here's how these guys made me laugh out loud today - I hope it's contagious :-)

By the way: Even though they all look completely different, they're quads - two girls and two boys from the very same mom, born in a sock box in summer 2006.

Checker jumping up on the kitchen unit and looking down on the yellow monster - definitely my favorite one!

If you enjoyed what you see, then give it a like - or even better: consider a little donation to my charity project @dreamsoftheocean.

We're full Steem ahead planning a nice little event starting at the end of July, and we still need some boost in order to make it become really outstanding.

Check the latest update post on fundition.io clicking here in order to learn more about it.

Remember: Having fun is great - but putting a smile on someone else's face is simply priceless!

Happy weekend, steemians!

Much love 💛

PS: I'm nominating @starkerz and @cryptocurator to participate in the @comedyopenmic as well. Vamos, guys!!! Haha

"I'd love to know what they think a vacuum cleaner is!"

He he he. Think of this. Cats have 5 times better hearing than humans. That means your cats hear that loud noise 5 times louder. To them it sounds like the loudest police siren!

Cats know everything about whats on the floor. And they know, that when the vacuum cleaner catches something, that that thing is NEVER seen again. Never. It goes in the tube, and it never comes back.

A cruel and arbitrary military police force, randomly arresting and taking into custody anything it catches, forever.

And the worst thing. They know YOU are working with this terrible enemy. You are helping it. They see you pushing it. They know what you are doing. You are collaborating with the enemy. Sometimes you even point them out to this terrible thing and it chases them.

But they know another thing. After that terrible noisy cat catching police force leaves town, you will make a fuss of them and love them again.

Just gotta be quick, find that hiding place, and wait till the cat cops leave town.

Checker reminds me of TS Eliot's poem, "Macavity the Mystery Cat." Here's an adapted quote:

"His powers of levitation would make a fakir stare,
And when you reach the scene of crime—Checker's not there!
You may seek him in the basement, you may look up in the air—
But I tell you once and once again, Checker's not there!"

Hahaha aaaaaaaaaw this is surely one of the best comments I've ever received!!!

I found myself giggling during the whole first part, but when you said this I broke into laughter:

They know YOU are working with this terrible enemy.

You probably hit the nail! I will be more understanding with them in the future...:-)

Thanks for stopping by, for rhyming and making me laugh!
What a bomb, hehe

Enjoy your weekend @rodneysreviews

Holy shit this is the best comment on Steemit

Cats think of humans as their natural inferiors. To them, we are servants. We should be grateful that they grace us with their attention.

Vacuums are messengers of the cat devil.

Haha, I had no idea my hoover was a devil's legate!? :-D

Honestly, the only one of my four who believes he's superior is Checker. The other ones are everything else but not this.

Everyone has their character, and I love them just the way they are :-)
I'm terrible at education which means that they always get what they want, as long as they ask long enough for it... Luckily I have no kids, that would end in a disaster! Haha

Oh, I am the same. Be it dogs or cats, they make me their petting slaves immediately.

Hehe, love it. 😺

Resteemed

Can you let Checker come to my house to spend the weekend. Believe me it'll come back being fearless and ready to fight the vacuum cleaners.

Hahaha, stop that!!, stop frightening the poor cat!.

Wow, lovely pets. Just don't expose them to danger far beyond what they could bear. I really like the fact you're having fun with them.

Of course I'd never endanger them! As I said I really love them, and usually I take them out on the terrace when the yellow monster comes out - since I know how they react :-)

That is fantastic, I saw one of them in your picture where you had a frightened moment during a match between your nation and another. I guess that should be Sweeden against Germany. Where kroos made everyone happy with his fabulous freekick. I didn't know you had more than one pet anyways. Cat frightens me, I don't know why?

I really like your news, thanks have various information. Do not forget to follow back my account @julhadi
