I would like to grab some long boxes of like old fcbd stuff, worn books that used for donation, etc. But also maybe I could get an email of what you have in mass trying to get rid of because of having to order quantities for variants or whatever the reasons.

fantastic idea to get someone new into a great hobby and maybe an investment opportunity. I got into comics years ago and stopped collecting as I have too many already and they have been put away in storage for now. Unfortunately I am not into the modern comics but the older war comics.
Ah I see. YeH most of these books that I’m including are ones I have a bunch of as we had to order a bunch to reach the plateau for certain variant covers. So for Venom #150 I had to order 2000 copies to obtain the necessary variants for a customer. I’m never going to sell through those so might as well basically give some away!!!

Does price for that automatically hit the book value at the price based on how many copies it takes to get one? If so, holy hell what an awesome customer (actually if not he still sounds like a nerd who knows what he wants). Kick ass he has you to hit up, and you have the ability to get that many books.
Edit: Had a lcs giving away copies of those Venom #1's specifically, 1 per customer, they might have been put in a similar spot as you now that I think of it.
If a customer wants a book like that where it’s an insane amount we offer it to them at cost and we keep the leftover variants. That’s the deal we offer. So he got one of each variant and a few cases of the Regular Venoms...we got to keep some cases of regulars and remainder of the variants.
Like the old Commando comics? I remember my Dad reading those when I was a kid. I reckon they'd be an interesting and nostalgic read. I almost wish I'd claimed them when I was younger and Dad was getting rid of them.
Yes. I have Commando, Battle and War picture library. Have around 7000 of them now.
That's an impressive collection. Pretty sure Dad read a few other types as well, it's just Commando was the series I remembered.
Like this idea and cool way to perhaps get someone into comics. I have and am into comics so I will save this for someone who hopefully is comic curious lol resteemed.

I'm stoked that there's a comic shop out there that's into STEEM! Crypto is kinda rare in our scene.
Yeah we need more shops willing to think outside the box...problem is we also need folks willing to spend it and that is an issue in itself! You into comics and toys and all this nerdy stuff?
I tend to want to spend at least some of my crypto. Crypto has a big future but you never know, all the current coins could be worthless one day. Besides, if you aren't going to spend it, what's the point? For Steem I do the 50/50 split on posts and tend to keep most of the liquid steem liquid so that I can spend it when opportunity's like this come up :).
I think the only other thing I've bought directly with steem so far though was a few silver coins.
Yeah I think more of us need to collectively “spend” a bit of it to give it purpose. If we all just hold it...well...
