Challenge of Escaping a 9 to 5 Job Online

Many people are looking to escape the 9 to 5 world the more it becomes apparent how non conducive it can be to happiness. I live in Southern California where rent on a 2 bedroom apartment ranges from $1600-$2400 monthly. Wages are not keeping up with the surge in housing prices. People from all walks of life are working 50-60 hours a week just to keep up with rent and are still broke. We are no longer in the age where one could find a high paying job with ease and end up buying a nice family home.

This is where the allure of working for your self and escaping the rat race comes into play. People can work online creating content that interest them and brings them genuine happiness. No longer leaving them working a thank-less job they hate with bosses they do not like.

The challenge comes into play finding direction on where to go or what to do. I am writing this to find others in the STEEM community who are in the same boat. I know you are out there!! ;)
