Hi @spaminator bot, thanks for the encouraged comment.

I learn more about this platform everyday and although I have been a supporter of @steemcleaners @guiltyparties witness efforts, veteran support and general amazing anti-spam work around the blockchain. I didn't realize at all the scope of "tag spam" and that this post would be seen as "tag abuse" LOL! 😂

I laugh because it is funny to me. In my opinion it's a funny balance for us to be organizing and categorizing for the "best" collation and search optimization, subjectively of course.. and then over reaching into the realms of shaming, blaming, intimidating or finger pointing on people who wish to promote small community efforts. Is that considered "spamming" who's to say? Just because accounts have high rep or SP does not make them more right or wrong. Yeah and I was the lone Asian kid who stood up to the fat greedy bullies in the playground.. perhaps I'm triggered? ✊

What if everyone in our sub-community accidentally "mis-tagged" this post and shared it, would we be considered spamming or promoting? What "harm" are we doing? Personally I felt it was a "right" fit, since it was an introduction to the community as well as an invitation for readers to come and introduce themselves. We do want to form sub-communities right? You know retention and new user support and all that?

I will add that until reading the sourced article, I did not know of any hard "rule" that only ONE #introduceyourself post was permitted and I'm still not really sure who or why that would be enforced. Even with the explanation, people are free to grow, change and evolve over time. I for sure will hopefully mature in time too. I feel there is "no harm" in people re-using this tag, especially if they are away from the platform for some time and feel drawn back and want the benefit of using their old account and reconnect with their followers but feel to introduce themselves to attract new support. Sure their original post might be way down their feed, so what, isn't it their freedom to elaborate on that or completely change direction?

Anyway those are just a couple examples off the top of my head, I'm sure there's many more if I really thought into it. My main point is I respect and admire the efforts of the @steemcleaners community and your @spaminator bot.

I've learned and taken on board the importance of accurate tagging. I also had a glimpse of the controls that the wider community could impose on me for any perceived abusive behavior here. Right on, you're free to do so as you please. As I am free to tag as I wish in future posts with my new perspective.

Perhaps the fact I even feel affronted by this bot comment which I personally see as way spammy, is the most amusing thing to me. Also that by using this tag incorrectly I am in some way seen to be abusively gaming dust votes from yet more "automated welcome bot" spam comments is ironic.

Perhaps it's just that I haven't had my coffee yet this morning.

It all feels a bit bossy and restrictive..
