Setting Your Post To 100% Power Up

Currently the Steem payout rewards are paying out in the following ways.

  1. 100% power up equals 100% Steem Power
  2. 50/50 equals 50% Steem Power and 50% Liquid Steem

Right now you can accumulate large amounts of liquid Steem while its worth roughly $1.00 USD

On the other hand, we can start a movement that supports everyone on the Steem platform via powerups.

Create a post, make it about something you like, as well as something that can benefit or help others. A DIY, a video tutorial, some good reading, a cool livestream, whatever it may be. Set the post payouts for that post to SP to equal %100 percent.

Then tag five people in the post and ask them to complete the same process. This will help to spread the word about the powerup movement.

Why would I set my post to SP equals 100% right now?

  1. With Steem Power being roughly a 1:1 ratio with Steem now, we as Steem holders and users having nothing to lose by doing pure powerup post.
  2. By doing pure powerups we set a trend to not power down thus keeping more Steem in storage and less on the auction for trades which is where the price action happens. Less available supply due to being stored in SP equals higher future value of Steem
  3. Invest in yourself and others will want to as well. When larger whales, orcas, and dolphins see minnows and plankton doing pure powerup on well-written and well-structured post, it may incentivize them to increase the vote weight they offer. A single whale or dolphin who drops an 100% upvote can increase a plankton’s SP exponentially just by clicking the button.
  4. It’s a way to get people writing and having fun without being focus on earning Steem and just growing their SP for long term sustainment and use of the platform.

To give some ideas of topics and areas you can use to help provide more insight on the post that you create, let’s look at how the goals in the post should be set up.

  1. Goals should be specific:
Get more people to use 100% powerup on Steem post to grow their Steem power
  2. Goals should be measurable:
The amount of Steem Power generated per person per 100% powerup post
  3. Goals should be attainable:
I hope to grow my personal Steem Power by 500 to 1000 SP while Steem and SP is at a 1:1 ratio. What is you SP goal?
  4. Goals should be relevant:
The specifics outlined above show that I am working not only to grow my SP but the community SP as well, thus increasing the value and growth of the Steem community and the Steem ecosystem as a whole.
  5. Time Based:
Do this until rewards stop paying 100% Steem or Steem is no longer with in the rounded 1:1 ratio of Steem to SP.

That perfect opportunity wasted. "Your Task If You Choose to Accept It ?!!"
What were you thinking?

Your mission, should you choose to accept it.

Slight problem with this challenge: I'm using steemit as a test run, not for the money, so I'm already posting at power up 100%. Oops.

Everyone has an opinion, you just used yours. "quotes are meant to be perfect, not people".

But... but - quotes aren't meant to be people?
And I'm sorry, I just saw those words and went - what happened to the mission impossible quote?
It helps that that's part of my catchphrase: "When people say This is impossible to me, they mean It's actually impossible. What I hear - Your mission, should you choose to accept it

Understood I thinks quotes are expression of people thoughts but that's me using my opinion LoL! I did know it was an MI catch phrase just did not want to be word for word anti - plagiarism you know but people would still get it.

here you go:

I think it's the same for all of them. Oh yeah, and when I hear those words, I hear the MI theme (above (no, double above!)) in my mind's eye (ear?)
