Color or graphite? #1

Many times I have asked myself this question, although it is true that each one owns their own tastes, it is not enough to know a little bit of both, and today I share with all of you my little opinion that as we all know is our own and have the right to give yours here below in the comments.
Many people think that if an artist is good at black and white it should not be in color and vice versa, but for me, the one you can do both is not to make you a better artist, but to make you more cultured and diverse, I put the case of a friend. He never bothered to try to draw in color, he has never done it and neither has he practiced it, a great disadvantage is that when it comes to doing an activity that contains drawings, he gives it without coloring and of course he does not get a full note. Not long ago there was a group activity, I told him that if he could do me the favor of coloring some areas in a degraded way, then I regretted it because it seemed like a child had done it and he explained that it is because he does not know how to use colors.
What I want to get with this is that if you have the opportunity do not hesitate to take your talent to the fullest and much more young, if later you decide to have a particular style and that that is the black and white is fine, but never It is necessary that you know everything a bit, at least that is my small opinion. This is a first part, since I wanted to make one with the drawing of the car that they saw above and that same drawing that I'm doing right now, this time in color, but unfortunately now I do not have a phone to take pictures so I had to choose to do it thus, however, in a second post they will have a direct comparison between one and the other.
