Being new here with almost no guide

You know most of the steem users are here to make money. It's like one of the sole aim for most of us, I mean when you hear you can make as much as $30 for a single write up, it's like a dream come true, I mean some of us got diaries with really great stories that would be amazing to everyone of it were told. Now imagine being paid for telling those stories!!!! I know right that'd be awesome.
Now most people just come on steemit and are utterly confused (like me, and I'm very sure I'm not the only one) and then end up just loosing interest in such an amazing platform that could probably change their lives, I know I know there are write-ups on how to "begin" on steemit and stuff like that but I went through most of them and I still don't get the most part.

This is my first post and I'm not ready to give up on the platform, I am still clueless about how everything works and if possible I'd like a little help, it's probably obvious from my write-up that I'm inexperienced in all this but I sure hope it doesn't stay that way.

If you're still like me out there and you're able to see this... Well just stick to youtube videos for now cause that's where I'm taking all the information I have so far.

In conclusion, being new here with no guidance whatsoever kinda sucks, but just cause it sucks doesn't mean you have to throw in the towel just yet. I mean life sucks sometimes but we still move on right? How my ranting is easily relatable... Please like and help me get this money lol.
