It is astounding to see how many people are bored with life. Boredom is also not limited to a particular group or class of society. Young people who ought o be enjoying life complain that they have nothing to do, and show little or no interest in the world around them.

Many of the elderly who are no longer active find life tedious because they have lost all interest in it. Boredom deprives life of its beauty and creativity. However, those who find life boring have no one to blame but themselves.

God has placed you in a wonderful world filled with fascinating people. If you are bored, you have simply become detached from the wonders of God's Creation. It is also an indication that your faith is insufficient to satisfy your spiritual needs and therefore you experience a serious deficiency within yourself.

If you are filled with the love of God it will be manifested in your love for people, your appreciation of life and your enthusiasm for everything worthwhile happening around you. True love creates interest and involvement.

When you begin a new day, believe that it will be the best day ever, and live it to the fullest. Resolve to be enthusiastic and joyful. Allow God's purpose with your life to unfold while you live purposefully for Him. Your enthusiasm and joy will flow to others and life will prosper. There will be no time to be bored.

A sure cure for boredom is to forget yourself through activities that bring you into contact with other people and ideas.
