The Daddy Of All Conspiracies
Where do all the teaspoons go?
Believe it or not the average lifespan of a teaspoon is 81 days. There was a study done by a research team at the Macfarlane Burnet Institute for Medical Research and Public Health in Melbourne to determine what happens to our teaspoons. They placed 70 numbered teaspoons in various tea-rooms in the institute and tracked them over a period of five months. Eighty per cent disappeared for good, with no explanation as to where they had gone.
This phenomenon is worldwide and the scientists are unable to come to conclusions as to why this strange event happens. Personally i think they go behind the dishwasher or washing machine, there is another theory but this gets even stranger some people think they go to a place with the lost sock. You know the one, the one sock that you cannot pair with other socks in your collection. We all have about 10 socks that do not make a pair but you keep them just in case the other socks return.
