Christmas has come early this year for conspiracy theorists and government accountability enthusiasts. A treasure trove of JFK assassination documents was just released about four hours ago, and some of these documents are about Martin Luther King.

11 days. Anything good yet? This seems like it could be good. Many of the issues we have today, JFK warned us about. Not to mention MLK could be of serious help today. Two American heros thia country could use right now.

Yes! They were both revolutionary thinkers and powerful influencers. Assassinated just a few years apart under a cloud of secrecy and misinformation. I'm tempted to believe that the deep state was behind both, and probably uses that to blackmail politicians even today. "You don't want to end up like JFK do you?"

I see a few stories starting to pop up but I haven't combed through them thoroughly yet.

Waiting patiently. Hopefully something will come of it soon. I feel deeply that keeping this information from "We The People", is or rather should be against the Constitution.

I agree wholeheartedly. Being able to classify pertinent information undermines the very foundation of democracy - and informed public. How can we hold politicians accountable when they are allowed to legally hide their mistakes? I am astounded by how readily people accept this behavior.

As you can probably tell, I feel very strongly about transparency with the citizenry and I wrote more about that in this article: https://steemit.com/politics/@pushing.truth/in-2017-the-constitution-is-no-longer-an-authoritative-document
