A few years ago I realized that I was seriously addicted to fear porn. I'd look up from my laptop and realize that 6 hours had gone by and I completely forgot about my responsibilities. I knew what I was reading was usually exaggerated bullshit, but I couldn't control myself.

It's like tabloid magazine trash but for my generation. I'm not proud of it, but I am addicted to speculating how bad the world has become and how bad it could get in the future. I'm addicted to bad news. It gives me a rush. Damn you search engines!
Google can yield a never ending buffet of bad news and conspiracies. That's how it all starts. Just a wild idea and a text box. There are many different ways to get off.
When will WW3 start? Has it already started? How fat is Kim Jong Un? Did his wife get executed? Will they feed her to a pack of starving dogs? When will they nuke us?
Will elite conspirators finally use HAARP to cause a New Madrid mega quake? Or will it be a blue beam holographic Armageddon? What's really going on underneath the Denver airport?
What's really in those vaccines?
Am I a victim of monarch mind control? What are the signs of ascension? Will civil war break out across Europe? Show me pictures of Detroit. Show me pictures of UFOs.
And on and on...
In the back of my head somewhere I know that usually what I'm obsessing about isn't true. How many failed predictions will it take for me to hit rock bottom? Why won't the world just end already?! lol

I don't do fear porn. I like horse porn. When I say this I mean beautiful pictures of horses, I don't want to take care of. :) I equate it to porn, because I think most porn enjoyment falls into the same category. Watching what you probably can't really handle. Strange comment I realize.
I use to do this some too. Never got to doing it every day, but I found a way to put it into creating content instead of consuming it. Like your doing here, great work!
