Hello fellow Steemians,

I am starting the week #15 of my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge and we are back to the continent of Asia. If you like to participate then place your personal image from your travels within Asia in the comment section below with a short 30 to 50 word description. Only use of personal images will be accepted and the best 10 posts will get my upvote. I will then pick the best picture of that day that I will highlight in the separate post next day to bring the winner some extra publicity and personally visit the blog of that steemian and upvote his/her most recent post. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically be entered into other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 150 SBD in total. So far I have given out approximately $1700 in upvotes and 315 SBD in rewards.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge after Asia today will be followed as per below rotation and then starting again with Asia on Sunday.

• Australia and New Zealand
• Antarctica + the world’s oceans
• Africa
• Europe
• North America

The beautiful tropical coral reefs of Nusa Lembongan in Bali offer wonderful opportunities to appreciate the underwater world. Bali has exceptionally clear water in places but it is unfortunate how much plastic you see floating amongst it.

That is wonderful! The winning entry will be announce later on today. Tomas

Streets of Bangkok

Bangkok was my last destination before returning home after 18 months of travelling. The busy city that has so many faces was a fascination place to visit. This shot taken from a bridge connecting two of Bangkok's major shopping malls captures the traffic in the large city.

Unreal bloody sunset at Tel-Aviv shot few years ago during our journey there. Already mentioned we have got cold and stormy weather that week, which still happens in Israel even...

Downtown Singapore

This incredible country captivated every part of us, from it's people, to the amazing scenery and forward thinking architectural engineering. this shot sums up just about everything we love about the place, the contrast of modern technology with the natural environment embraced rather than excluded.

Thank you so much for your submission. What a great entry! The winner announcement will be coming later on today. Tomas

This was taken at Khao Kho in Petchabun, Thailand at a newly built wind farm, which will be providing energy for thousands of homes. The might of the wind-turbines was spectacular visually from the mighty blades spinning and auditory through the whoosing sounds of the blades cutting through the air!

I took a photo of this beautiful sunset when we were staying in Bintan, Indonesia. Some fisherman were heading out to their boats as the sun was going down, it felt like paradise! I took this photograph on my Nikon FM2, I wanted to remember the feeling of this atmosphere and I find that using a film camera captures more of the essence of the place!

This is most beautiful place in Teera Valley located in Tribal Area of Orakzai Agency Pakistan which is federally administered area. Last Friday I visited the Town named "Kurez" which is a beautiful spot located in Teera Valley. The area is surrounded by green hills and its beauty is worth-seeing. The mountains remain covered with snow during Winter after snowfall. Green trees and other plants add more colors to its beauty. God has gifted real beauty to the scenic area located in Pakistan, a most beautiful country of Asia

A Little Paradise in the Villages of India !
Heaven.jpg

To see the real beauty of any country you need to come down to the villages. This photograph was captured almost a decade back when I used to travel solo back in Indian exploring new unknown places. What you are seeing is a small village with a few houses on hills with a amazing view of the river. Would you like to live in a peaceful place like this ?

Thank you so much for your participation. I will be announcing the winner later on today. Tomas

Thank you Tomas and Happy New Year !

Happy New Year! This photo was taken at our hotel near Cape Panwa in Phuket Thailand. We love this area as the water seems to be the cleanest/clearest in Phuket and it has virtually no crowds. You would wake up, have some breakfast and enjoy the sun. Its a great place to go for a relaxing holiday
