Gochain: The new generation of criptocuracy and blockchain
Gochain is the new generation of cryptocurrencies and blockchain, it is an improved version in these two senses and comes to revolutionize the world of cryptocurrency and dethrone Bitcoin.
Many projects are being built on the ethereum platform, they are forced to take advantage of the slowness of that underlying platform and they all try to use the available bandwidth to carry out their own transactions. This leads to the ethereum network overloading and becoming even slower.
In addition to the slow speed, there are other problems too. Ethereum works on POW or proof of working and exploiting ETH requires a lot of energy. So to validate the transaction in the ETH blockchain you would have to spend a lot of energy too so that the process that slows down, the energy consumption and your project in a resource that is already overloaded and overloaded.
Gochain offers us a high-performance, scalable, decentralized currency that also provides intelligent contract service and serves as a platform for all types of app's, as well as allowing faster execution of contracts and transactions, being superior to the Ethereum platform .
The objectives of the platform is to be more decentralized, since they believe that open decentralization has not worked, taking into account that 70% of mining is concentrated in China, for a few mining farms. To avoid the monopoly of mining, Gochain will force those who carry out mining to be in different nations by unrelated companies.
Another goal is to be 100 times faster, even handling high transaction volumes, something that vastly exceeds the Ethereum network that can only perform 13 transactions per second and Gochain plans to go for 1,300 and up to 2,400, and 7500x cheaper transaction fees.
As is well known, one of the problems of bitcoin and blockchain is the immense amount of energy it uses to function, something that can be fatal for cryptocurrencies, but Gochain is on its way to using a thousand times less energy than the one that uses the first cryptocurrency that saw the market.

In summary:
• A public cryptocurrency
• Build decentralized applications and rock solid smart contracts
• Fully compatible with existing Ethereum wallets, smart contracts and other tools
• Fast transactions and contract execution
• Next generation decentralized app platform goes beyond Ethereum smart contracts - coming Q4 2018

The innovative security method: Reputation test (PoR)
GoChain uses a consensus Reputation Test (PoR) model that depends on the reputation of the participants to maintain network security. A participant (a block signer) must have a reputation important enough to suffer significant financial and brand consequences if he tries to cheat the system. But the largest companies are those who will have more to lose and, therefore, will be the ones chosen by companies with less use (smaller companies).
Once a company demonstrates its reputation and approves the verification, it can be voted on as an authorized node on the network and at this point, it functions as an Authority Test (PoA) network, where only authorized nodes can sign and validate blocks (more on the PoA) below. Something very similar to being Witness in Steemit.
Reputation as a method of network security
Reputation is vital for a brand. A company that acts in an unethical way is harmed in many ways, including financially (fines, loss of income), diminished valuation, brand (distrust) and public relations. Trust is the cornerstone of a successful business and once a brand loses trust with its customers, it can take years to recover it.
Let's use the Volkswagen emissions scandal as an example. They worked alone to deceive the public and their own customers. Once discovered, it was a financial and public relations disaster that cost them $ 25 billion, a 50% drop in the share price, and their brand lost a lot of confidence. His reputation was put to the test and they paid dearly. Proof of reputation is based on this risk of significant loss to allow trust in the network. PoR is very safe
PoR adds a layer of protection that never existed before and that makes companies work together to keep each other honest. Imagine if Volkswagen worked with Ford, Toyota and others to validate and verify their emissions tests. It is very unlikely that Volkswagen tried to cheat the system when its competitors are testing their respective vehicles. And even if they tried to act in a nefarious way, knowing the risks, once caught, they would be quickly expelled from the consortium and lose their rights to be part of the network.
The ICO of Gochain
Their private sale began in February of 2018 and they will be looking to launch their public token sale in April. There is a total token supply of 1 billion GOC tokens, with the soft cap of the token being set at 2,500 ETH and the hard cap being set at 26.5000 ETH. Every year will see the creation of about 50 million new tokens for authorized nodes, with this figures lowering in time.
50% of the total token supply will be available for investors during the token sale, 10% will be going to the team with a lockup period of six months, 6% goes to advisors and partners with a 6 month lockup, 10% goes towards bounties and the foundation, 4% goes towards marketing and legal expenses, 10% is kept in reserve with a lockup of one year and 10% is part of the GoChain fund.
