I was introduced by @adjes-eu last month and today is my 3oth day here on steemit... Its not really easy to be a blogger, activities here and there... I was opportune to enter a contest by @mimy last week but the result is not out yet and i hope to get something out of that contest (wink).

However, I am working so hard to get the best out of this community and to give it my best as well because here on steemit to get $1+ in a post is hell! I just hope this contest favours me.

Thank you @desmonddesk for organising a competition as this to encourage the "newbies" and i congratulate in advance whoever that emerge the winner of this competition!

Happy steeming to you all as you favour my cause.

Introduced to steemit by a kind-hearted pedagogue @vic-essien few weeks ago. I am just 4 days old on steemit community and so far so good, it has been tasky, challenging and quite rewarding.
After being guided in posting my introductory post, a fortnight ago, I tried my best to be independent by posting a long article about the History, Bigotry and Genocide that is happening in my beloved country - Nigeria, yesterday but I ended up disappointed because I couldn't really upload pictures on the post.

I have had a few number of followers and I am following a good number of "oldbies".

Howbeit, I am working so hard to get the best out of this community and to give it my best as well.

Thank you @desmonddesk for organising a competition as this to encourage the "newbies" in this lovely community.

I started steemit from the influence of a Friend but then the tutorial I had from him were not enough. I wrote my introduction post wanting to put his name in the tag but an helper showed up. My first step on steemit after my introduction post that didn't bring much, was congratulating a user for reaching a milestone of 3000 follower who gave me an upvote of $6. This really helped as it gave me enough encouragement as to continue in the steemit community. But currently help from friends and some giveaway are what make me stand in the community.

Nice you have my support

I go by kolapo1 on the steem platform. The experience i have had on steemit is immeasurable even in the little amount of time i just joined. I have related with many people and i have participated in many contests and like the patron of this one I've won one also. I have dabbled in different articles and posts trying to figure out the one that'll catch my readers attention. I currently have a hundred followers and i believe with hardwork and perseverance I'll reach more than that.

I have been here for a little over one year. In this time, I have learned how to use the steem network much more efficiently and effectively by learning all I can about what works well for other users. My three main points of focus on the network are contests, blogging, and social interaction & curation. I hope to use steem to become a full time artist using the account @art4sbd that I made along with others to host specific content. Until a better version comes out doing this is the best way to stay organized and attract viewers with specific content.

So like never before i was interested in knowing more about cryptocurrency and while discussing with my friend @jeline,she told me about steemit and guided me this far,i joined steemit 24th jan...i was extremely excited to get on here,so excited that i didnt think if there would be any difficulty of any sort. Maybe steemit saw my excitement and didnt want to let me down,my introductory post earned an upvote of $9.76 my joy doubled. Two days to payout sbd began to loose its value and my upvote dropped-this displeased me though but it brought me to think - there are more difficulties ahead. Subsequent post didnt get the kind of upvotes my first post got and its disturbing me-some good steemians have offered to help me out on it and i really do appreciate their gesture and i look forward to the best of experience here. Thank you @desmonddesk for this contest.

I came on board few days ago,to be candid steemit has been tough and challenging yet superb and intersting, I have consumed most of my data on youtube just to watch videos on how to make good introduction posts and how to post good articles on steemit, I have made series of mistakes on posting of articles that I had to delete some posts, but I won't give up. its good to be here on steemit, I love it.

Thanks @desmonddesk for organising this give away contest.

No idea how to resteem, but did the rest; but seriously, I feel cheap for doing so :-)

My experience here over the past 10 days has been mixed. The first two days SUCKED! I didn't do my homework or checks. I didn't learn about Steam Power and how essential it is to be able to do ANYTHING. Until some kind soul upvoted one of my posts, I was locked out for an entire day! This is the real problem, you join and unless you have the foresight to look for helpful information, you fall down a rabbit hole and then feel angry at the system.

I've now found MANY brilliant articles and am following many many great people! I'm still disappointed I can't get the upvotes on my initial set of Tutorials and Diary a Day articles on a game I'm now building, but I hope it builds on day. It does suck to see several of them have been view 100's of times, yet only 3 upvotes and little in responses.

I also discovered this introduceyourself tag late! So by the time I'd used it, I think I lost a great opportunity.

So overall, the experience was enough to give up, but I've kept going because of ONE helpful person. If I can help ONE other person myself (and I've already done so with 3), then I know I've already contributed.

I want to published Tutorials and Diaries, i.e. to write content, but to me, the real winners are the ones that just build a social network and post more crap about Crypto's. Personally, I hope that FAD dies down sooner rather than later.

/RANT OFF.... Hello, I'm not normally this grumpy!

This happens. the platform humbles us all :)

I've now learnt to resteem! Don't expect to win or get anything, but it's made me learn a new and vital skill here. So thank you.

Hi @sp33dy! Check out my minnow's guide Its not comprehensive but explains a lot about voting and how to get your money out of steemit, I will release a longer version including more topics later this month.

Yes, I'm just getting my head around it now. Learning to play the game.

WOW
Great #AnimatedSignature you got there.๐Ÿ˜
Wonder where you got it...๐Ÿ˜‰

Hi, my name is @jeff-dawn, I chose this name because when I tried to register as Jeff, the platform said, "name not available". ๐Ÿ‘Œ

My experience on steemit, I would say is humbling. Some nights I dream of a great number of upvotes on my post, only to find out it was just a dream!. Disappointing.๐Ÿ˜‚

I find it very very disappointing. Personally, I spend hours researching and editing my posts, only to find out that 5nice guys stopped by to drop 0.2$.๐Ÿ˜ฉ

Now I'm reading every "googoldigok" that comes with the topic "how to succeed on steemit" hoping to succeed๐Ÿ˜’.
