Hey Jacob, congrats on passing 900 followers.
My aim here is to bring graphic design to the platform, educate and connect with other designers and involve them in interesting projects. Eventually as my channel grows, I plan to host weekly graphic design contests to create all sorts of visuals for various companies/groups/projects and allow more talent to rise and receive appropriate rewards.
I think that @sndbox, a great project here on Steemit, were right in saying that we are close to a digital Renaissance, in that people are rewarded for their creative work here like no other place, and thus, great talent has a better chance of showing and growing.
My contribution to this will not be limited to using graphic design purely, but I am and will be experimenting with other mediums as such, currently I'm running a sideproject to spread the word on cryptokitties and help grow the platform by giving away cryptokitties every 48 hours, encouraging small contests in posts as well, see here @cryptokittyfarm.
I've personally been positively impacted with the platform by seeing support from the community, have won several contests in graphic design and will enjoy growing my digital presence.

My goal and vision for my Steemit involvement is two fold.
My main account @ssimkins9, will focus on engaging with two main groups--parents and woodworkers/DIYers. I was fortunate enough to "get in at the ground level" in a woodworking group. We have a curation account @woodworkcurators, which is being ran by @jist and @skycranehandwork. It is a pretty awesome group. I have also been posting/engaging in the #parenting #children #family and #dad tags a lot. I have not yet found a formal group around these topics, but it is a pretty active community of Steemians.
I just recently created my secondary account, @nssi-advocate, but have not started posting there yet (literally just activated it this week). That account will focus exclusively on non-suicidal self injury and related mental health issues and behaviors. I will be creating content on the topic as well as curating and engaging others. It is a really prevalent issue and something that I personally deal with. I have not seen a lot of content on the issue here yet, but I hope to partner with some people in the psychology space and potentially the poetry/arts groups.
Hi Intrepreneur916, congratulations on the amount of followers. This is very inspiring and will make sure to follow your future post and learning a lot from you. I totally agree that hard work pays of at the end. My mission is to also create a group of good followers and to deliver good informative content that everyone can benefit from and have healthy debates.
The world lacks healthy debates, that is a very good direction to go. I, for one, love healthy debate.
I will post and upload my photos daily. I want to increase the number of my followers and upvoters of my content. I hope for the rise in price of steem and its popularity

For your giveaway consideration...I have been a maker and creator since I was a very small child. Sometimes I had and outlet, market and audience, sometimes I didn't. Steemit seems to me to be an ideal platform for someone like me who has lived and breathed making and creating for as long as I have memory.
I want to inspire, entertain, awe and engage an audience. I want to encourage, uplift, educate, and support a community. I want to practice "do unto others" to a world. Is there really any place better then Steemit where I can do all of those ?
And yes I want to earn an income while I do those. We are semi-retired and wish to (due to health reasons) fully retire. We want to buy an RV and get out of the frozen north in the winter. We want to be able to help our children and grand children more then we can now. We want to repay some of the people who have helped us over the years. Steemit seems like, with some real work, it could help reach those goals.
So congrats on 900 and may your double that in no time.

Hahahaha, I am from the west coast. This is insane out here.
We have been spending most of February in Southern CA and Arizona last couple years, but didn't this year. Regretting that decision somewhat.

I always have this passion to become one of the most finest promoters of steemit to the world...and with Day1, i started on facebook...and i have moved to the offline level now...the main goal is to get 200 people on steemit before 2018 ends...
Congrats @entrepreneur916 on the 900 followers. I believe that I posted on your 800 followers post too. That was when I had 100 and now have reached 200+. So glad to see the growth in the community. I noticed a few big youtubers are converting over to the #steemblockchain. So great to see.
My goal is to make #steem my primary income and help the community grow. I will be starting videos and am pretty excited about it. I used to stream on twitch and also have my youtube channel but think this is a 10x better way of using my time to provide a better future for my family.

Congratulations @entrepreneur916 on the achievement of 900 followers. It is indeed a result of your hard work considering the short period.
My goal for STEEMIT platform is to use steemit to help as many Young Minds around me as possible.
To achieve this I want to set up a STEEMIT hub in my area. A STEEMIT centre where I will be providing wireless internet access to enable Young Minds around me access steemit sites.
The centre will be conducting seminars and tutorials including mentoring program to enable people come onboard steemit platform, understand and participate in creating quality contents and getting rewards for them.
The centre will also act as exchange centre where steem dollar or steem can be exchanged for Naira (Nigerian money). One can also pay bills and buy airtime and data with sbd and steem at the centre.
A lot is already in place, like the venue and little funds. Any moment the steemit centre will be launched.
Just little challenge of getting trusted hands to man the centre and more funds. However these are being worked upon and soon by God's grace steemit would be the talk of the time throughout my surroundings and beyond.
