The World of XPILAR - B&W PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART CONTEST WEEK #069

My visit to Moraine Lake in the Valley of the Ten Peaks last October was a dream come true for me. Arriving just before sunset, I ran to the top of the Rock Pile and had just a few minutes to take photos before the sun went down. The Rock Pile is an iconic viewpoint and roughly a 100-metre climb. There are stairs but wow... I was out of breath when I got to the top! This is Moraine Lake in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada in the heart of the Canadian Rockies.
