Thank you so much for sharing your stories!
I am deeply moved as I read each comments in my post. There are times when I have to stop and pause for a moment to compose myself. So thank you to each of you guys, for giving me a little of your time to construct those words and posting them in the comment section.
Its really not about the reward you're gonna get, but its about inspiring others. Not the ego boost, but its about showing other people that despite the overflowing greediness, selfishnes and hate we're seeing nowadays, there are still good people out there. I am so glad to see so much kindness in my post, and I'm very much grateful to each of you.
We can never make this world a better place if there's only one or two people who wanted to make a difference.
Let us be one in fighting for what is right, and be brave to stand against all these people who tries to dominate others with their egotistical desires.
In this time, where everyone seemed to become used to what is "traditional", and tries to bend the system because everyone is doing it anyway, let us be different.
Okay here's the deal: share your good deed in the comment section below, and I will reward 10 good deeds for 0.300 SBD each. Very easy right? 😉
I'm excited to read your stories! Those who have been rewarded can join over and over again.
If you cannot sing or draw like me, this contest is definitely for you. It doesn't require a good voice or a good artwork, you just need to have.. a good heart.
Let's always spread positivity and keep making a difference! 🤗💚

Hello!
I really want to appreciate @Meetmysuperego for the contest. Although, I was a beneficiary of the last one, I'm here once again to drop this short story with the intention of inspiring someone.
I am not a very charitable person but I strongly believe every little good we do counts. I submitted to go to the market today in order to get the necessary ingredients for soup. Having prepared a budget or plan, I set out. In my country, more than one person can board same cab. So, I boarded a cab in which was a pregnant lady. She had a handbag and her purse was right on top of all she had in the bag. She alighted at a nearby junction. When I got to my bus stop, I noticed that the lady had dropped her purse. I took hold of it with great fear because I understand how egoistic cab drivers can be. Well, one babyish voice in my head just whispered "you know what to do".
Apparently, I was tensed. I opened the purse and immediately dug in with my two fingers and brought out some money and a piece of paper on which was written "Mike Gateman" and a phone number. I immediately placed a call to the number. After several times of calling, someone finally answered and I narrated the whole story to the person on the other end. Finally, he sent me an address and I went there, saw the pregnant lady, gave her back her purse and without waiting for a show of gratitude, I left.
I know it can be difficult at times to show care, it is of immense benefit to us,the giver. Don't forget that what we sow is what we reap.
Thank you
For past years we've been doing Feeding Missions for the Kids in various places in Mindanao in the province of Misamis Oriental... Pls watch the video in this link... https://steemit.com/ministry/@godlovermel25/17blwpti
There are so many good people, we just have to look through the bad.
This happened to me a couple of weeks ago, it was not an act of kindness I did, it was a proffered act of kindness to me.
I am a small and thin person. The other day I had just walked home from the shops. There was a knock on my door a minute later. When I opened it, an elderly Italian lady was standing on the doorstep. I smiled and said "Can I help you?"
To which she replied "No, I want to help you. You look so skinny, are you hungry?"
I replied that I was fine, there was no need to worry, but she insisted. "Look at you, all skin and bone, no meat! You need to eat. Come, I will get you some food."
I reassured her again that I was not hungry, and she again insisted. "I saw you walking, so slowly, you need food for energy, and so skinny, you need to eat. I am on my way to the takeaway shop, come, I will buy you a hamburger."
I smiled and thanked her for the offer, re-assured her I had plenty of food, but appreciated her thinking of me and declined as graciously as I could.
She left and I was left to ponder on the goodness of some people. Despite not taking her up on the offer of a feed, the action of her offer touched me deeply and left me with a smile for the rest of the day. Just knowing there are still people who care about strangers enough to knock on their door and offer to help was enough to improve my entire outlook on life and I still laugh at her insistence that "You need a woman to take care of you, so skinny..."
I don't have 0.3 SBD yet to give but my upvote, my sincere appreciation and my resteem for this post will make sure an added visibility for the kind act you are willing to give!
Imagine just willing to offer a help to some other people will make you surprised they would be more than willing to help you out instead! If all people will just have this in mind and not just purely do this for the sake of popularity then the world will STILL be a nice place to live in!
Mate, don't worry about the SBD, put it to a better use. I shared this so others could share in the niceness of this woman's actions and maybe be inspired by her.
Deeply touched with your kindness. Instead of feeling bad about it and thinking negatively despite the person is willing to help you, steemit is a best place to share those good thoughts and inspire other people with this. I just gotten aware of your SBD delegation. I posted something on one of your recent posts as a sign of gratefulness. Have a wonderful day @andyfishman !
I like the idea you had in mind, I wish I thought about this kind of contest myself before you started it hehe.
Thank you and more power!
I'm happy and proud to have you in our group #steemitachievers!
Some people are unlucky to be in the situation where they are not privilege to have the basic needs of life.my team and i decided to go round, sought for money and we were able to provide few things for those on the street.
It's good to be good, it may be tasking but someday you will reap the benefits, even if is not you but your children, you never can tell.
As a corp member i had always thought of what to do as my personal community
development service (CDS), till an idea came to my head, since i was teaching in a secondary school i decided to organize what i call "ladies corner" for the female students. Is a forum where we get to openly address issues as pertaining to us, i get to know their challenges and also encourage them with my experience to help them avoid making mistakes as a result of having no one to guide them.
Thank you for giving me and as well as others an opportunity to share their good deeds and the way they have been helping others. As you said it is not about the reward but inspiring others. I would like to add more, it is also about the happiness and the relief others are getting through your contributions. Also when people get facilitated through your acts, they surely pray for you. Let me share my another good deed with you.
I have planted green chillies, mint and coriander in a little space outside my house. I have allowed my neighbors to take as much as they need. It is fresh mint, chillies, and coriander. My front door uncle always ring my bell to ask if he can take some mint? I feel little shame, and tell him you don't need to ask me ever and take as much as you need.
Here is the fresh mint and the coriander.
Caught up as a surprise when I check my wallet with another kind deed I would be doing afterwards though! Showing my support and doing a power up and I get to see this! :)
Highly appreciated!
