After too long at sea, Tres believes all the extra booze is weighing down and sinking the ship. Rather than dump it, he drinks it even faster and then pees off the side of the boat to get rid of the extra weight. He’s busy relieving himself as Cpt. Murphy shouts, “Land!” and beaches the boat. Your bandmate flies through the air and lands on the sandy beach. The rest of you join him and dig out his half-submerged body.

“Are we dead?” Tres asks. You and your bandmates don’t answer. You’re distracted by an approaching figure.

A tall man sashays toward you. He’s dressed head to toe in loose-fitting black clothes, despite the tropical feel of the island. His shirt sleeves are ripped off, exposing his scrawny, pale white biceps. His long, stringy black hair drapes over one side of his face, always obscuring one eye, and occasionally getting stuck in the corner of his mouth.

“‘Ello!” he shouts, spitting the ends of his hair from his mouth. His accent sounds like a cross between a Brit and a frightened mongoose, but he seems pleasant enough.

“Uh… hi,” you say.

“You must be questing musicians!” the man says. “But where are my manners? I’m Oddy. Oddy Osmourne.”

“We’re the Tortillas de Pelo,” you say. It doesn’t occur to you to mention your actual names, and Oddy is kind enough to smile and not press you for them.

“How did you know we’re musicians?” Machete asks, as he dumps three pounds of sand from one of his shoes. He puts it back on his foot, grimaces, pulls the shoe back off, and dumps out another pile of sand.

“Oh, all the world’s best musicians find their way here one way or another,” Oddy says casually, waving his hand around at the island paradise. “Sometimes they’re just down on their luck, but they always get back to tip top shape after a little vacation here.”

“That’s a pretty shady explanation,” Tio says as he eyes your host suspiciously. “So you just ‘knew’ we were musicians because we arrived here?”

“You’ve got me. The truth is I search out musicians,” Oddy admits. Tio still seems suspicious. “Oh, and wearing a bass string around your neck is a dead giveaway,” Oddy adds, motioning toward Tres and smiling. “Would you gents fancy a drink?”

Without waiting for a reply, Oddy claps his hands, and attendants appear out of nowhere. In seconds, you and your bandmates are holding fruity drinks with little umbrellas sticking out of them, and everyone feels much happier. Tio slurps his down and receives another immediately.

“How about a tour?” Oddy asks, again motioning around the island.

Beyond the beach, you see a gorgeous villa. A lush jungle surrounds it. An enormous volcano towers over everything. Where do you begin exploring?

Gotta love Oddy :)

His parents always said he was such a nice fellow. :)

Looks and voice description as well as the name were a great treat. By the way I did not like very much somebody who resembles Oddy, but as I grow wiser I became more appreciative of... not Oddy and certainly not Osmourn.

His accent sounds like a cross between a Brit and a frightened mongoose.

Bwahaha! What a great Oddy we have here!
