PREDICT AND WIN SBI SHARES: Football Prediction #6 (19/09/2021) - EPL Tottenham v Chelsea

in #contest3 years ago

Villa turned on the style in the second half yesterday and blitzed Everton into submission.

We had the clues earlier in the week that they had there was the possibility of a stutter and so it came to pass at Villa Park as nine minutes saw Everton fall to their first league defeat of the season.

@nathe007's Prediction

Chelsea have continued the season where they left off, with Thomas Tuchel leading a revolution. They are a different side to the one playing under Frank Wankhard who, after being shit at Derby and even worse at Chelsea seems to have suddenly gone very quiet!

They have been scoring at will and a win today would see them keep the pressure on the rest of the top 4 who all sit on 10 points, except Liverpool on 13 who played their 5th round game yesterday.

Although Christian Pulisic won't be playing, they have no injury concerns but there will no doubt be a few changes from the team that successfully beat Zenith St. Petersburg in the Champions League last week.

Spurs had had a very good start to the season too, until last week when they suddenly went rubbish against Palace last week. Things had been going so well but that ability to perform so poorly must have dampened the hopes of the fans.

A tough game in the Europa League midweek and a couple of injuries to add to their ever-growing queue for the treatment table has to cast an ominous shadow on the game today.

It looks like they will once again be relying on the ever consistent Son Heung-min to get them through, but without a team performing alongside him, even the wondrous Son Heung-min is going to struggle, especially with Kane who is also injured (allegedly!).

I have a feeling Spurs are going to get battered.
