Hello dear friends of steemit .I would like to thank the Almighty God who has kept us during this trying moments of covid-19 followed with the total lockdown. It wasn't that easy pushing on with the lockdown but I finally made it out. As for me to keep my fitness I used to jog at least thrice in a week.
Jogging is very important to the body as it has the following impacts that are more so positive as shown below;
1.FLEXIBILITY:jogging helps to improve on ones flexibility as it hydrates the muscles and ligaments and also produce substances that lubricate the muscles and increase flexibility.

2.IMMUNE SYSTEM;jogging actually strengthens ones body response to illnesses especially short term illnesses like common cold ,cough and many others.

3.IMPROVES DEPRESSION:depression is all brought about by stress from the secretion of a particular hormone called cortisol, so as one jogs the hormone is stopped from being secreted hence reducing depression.

4.INSULIN RESISTANCE:as one jogs ,a particular hormone that regulates and controls blood sugar levels is produced or secreted hence avoiding cases of diabetes in people.

5.RELIEVES STRESS:jogging can protect you from the negative impacts of stress as its potentially improves executive functioning and protects the brain from declining due to stress and aging.

6.WEIGHT LOSS:jogging improves the cardiovascular health and prevents obesity with other future related problems like stroke and many more others.

7.EXERCISE PLATEAU:jogging helps to get your heart rate up high for a long time hence increasing the intensity of your workout gradually making you physically fit.

8.LONGEVITY:as one jogs ,he or she increases the chances of living a health life since jogging reduces the risks of one contracting diseases and becoming ill.

All you need to know about jogging is that its far different from just running as its running at a pace of close to 6 miles per hour (mph).
In conclusion to get better results from jogging, you need to be consistent when doing it, daily if possible.
