RE: Information Finding Championship - Season 1 : Round 21

in #contest7 years ago

Well, since this round is about poetry I absolutely have to try and rope @chrisroberts and @carrieallen into this because I'd love to see a limerick or two and another couple playing IFC :) Also, @jacksondavies might be interested in contributing a haiku to this round as well.

Let's see if the IFC finds them or if they will find the IFC.

Limericks would be fun! We rarely see those anymore.

You'll definitely like the posts by @chrisroberts who seems to be a natural with limericks! He always looks for suggestions and ideas for topics too, which I guess he uses to hone his skills :)

Thanks for telling me about @chrisroberts! I’m now following his feed. His limericks are a riot. Did you see the ones about the “corporate” retreat he had to attend? 😂 😂 😂

No I haven't, do you have a link? That guy could write his own biography in limericks :D Maybe that should be his next challenge? :)

Thanks for following, Laura! I've written at least a hundred limericks in the last eight months since joining Steemit. I have a bit of an obsession.

The more the merrier especially in regards to poetry in my opinion. :D I hope this round pulls in a few new faces whether they stick around or it's just for one round! :) Thanks for trying to notify more people plushzilla! :D You definitely have a well earned reputation for finding great people and talents here on steemit!

Thanks for the plug, @plushzilla!
I've been falling behind a bit on the limericks, but I'm sure they'll be flowing again any day.

I thought you were going to say any minute :D Over 100 limericks in eight months is more than 10 every month so at least 1 every 3 days! I am trying to do something similar with chiasmuses now starting with my own writing contest :)

Cool! Keep me posted; I'd be happy to participate. I haven't been entering enough contests lately. Work's been a little stressful, keeping me exhausted on my days off.

That corporate retreat you 'limericked' about sounded like a lot of fun :D @moneyinfant tells me that people will be scared away by the thought of a chiasmus, but I plan to prove otherwise:
