I agree, higher rewards are great but unsustainable for someone like me who can't afford to invest an x amount of Steem per month.

Makes me think.... maybe I should make a monthly contest with a weekly post reminding participants about it and acquiring new ones. That would be more sustainable and the rewards would be much higher than the weekly contests.
