They have been around for a lot longer than them coming to Steem, this is just a new airdrop for Steemians, but could always run it in a VM to be safe.

You can also send the money directly to Bittrex and sell within 5 minutes of receiving it if you really wanted to.

    I'm a dumbass and didn't realize I could send it to an exchange lol used the BYTE/BTC exchange built into the app. Probably lost a good %

    O well. haha

      oh so interesting. I must look into the byte/btc exchange. I do not have a bittrex account as my computer is slow when using exchanges. Thanks.
