I watched the replay and.. yeah.. McGregor got 5-6 direct head punches, without even beeing able to defense himself anymore.

I agree. This fight had so much hype, the ref should at least let whoever was going to lose hit the ground at least once before waving it off

During the 9th, McGregor's head got rattled and he did grab and raise Mayweather up. During the 10th, his head got rattled and he again positioned himself in a MMA stance. During the 10th, his head was hit several times and he did not respond or defend himself. At that point, the ref stoppped the fight.

It was a bit early, but I think the fear was that McGregor may turn to an MMA move if/when his head got dizzy.

Never mind the fact that McGregor fought like MMA and not boxer. McGregor threw Hammer Punch whenever Mayweather ducked down. Not allowed in boxing.

McGregor turned to MMA positioning throughout the fight, by grabbing Mayweather and getting behind him and hitting him from behind.

Overall, McGregor did box, he did well, he did better than expected. It was a good fight.

.

this fight never shoud have been played like this mc gregor in my eyes did a huge mistake to acept the contract they gave him. it was so obvious that he will loose
it wasent fair at all for him it shoud have been a mixed fight or one in the box ring with stradiotional boxing rule and one in a cage.

mc gregor several time tried to use his mma tecnics to go behind him i didnt liked the fight at all
sorry

I agree that McGregor lost the fight at the contract. But McGregor won a lot of respect for himself and for MMA, not to mention a Ton of CASH. So, actually McGregor WON overall....just not the fight.

hahahhahaahahhaah definitly both of them got toooonnns of money
