"The list is getting quite smaller, it may be due to the seasonal break contest organizers are having.
Immediately I saw that I exclaimed "Yesss".
The fact still remains that, this #club5050, #club75, and #club100 is the major setback of people organising contests on steemit.
Ain't condemning it though, but the result we are getting is.
Aside that, today is being the 3rd day of the new month yet #steemitblog hasn't released list of communities of the month, I think this is also among the reasons steemit now has less contests.
What do you think might be the problem sir @disconnect ?
There was a time that I was hunting for 100 contests for the list and even celebrated when I reached it. The average could be somewhere between 80 - 90 contests most of the time.
But there was a sudden growth in contests and many wanted to organize contests. Maybe this list also happens to be an inspiration for that.
I found a record number of 130+ contests. For the past few months, I was able to find 100+ contests continuously and now suddenly it dropped.
I'm not sure it is because of the club initiative. For the moment I like to think of this as a break for the contest organizers. Hopefully, in the next week, I will see 100 contests again on the list.
